Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon are two varieties that have been blended in their traditional home of Bordeaux for hundreds of years. Sauvignon Blanc’s light body but pungent bouquet benefits from the mouth-filling body and honeyed tones of Semillon to provide another dimension and texture to what otherwise can be a bit simple.
Bruce Dukes & Remi Guise from Naturaliste Vintners have done it again for us for this 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. They have expertly wound the complimentary characters of these varieties (66% Sauvignon Blanc, 34% Semillon) around one another to produce a very modern & sassy version of one of the wine worlds’ classic blends.
- Colour – Pale Straw with light green highlights.
- Bouquet – A delightful fusion of green herbs, Indian tonic and golden honey.
- Palate – The palate is limey and juicy combining the grassy tart profile and lightness of the Sauvignon Blanc with the richer honeyed and slightly butterscotch characters of the Semillon leading to a balanced and satisfying medium weight wine.

Pale colour. Fresh gooseberry, passionfruit, cut grass aromas with hints of blackcurrant. Classically structured with plentiful gooseberry, passionfruit, hint lime flavours, grassy herbaceous notes, fine lacy textures and zippy acidity. Finishes crisp and minerally. A refreshing style with very good density, definition and clarity. 13.2% alc.

Fabulous MR SBS in a super friendly travel packaging! We just drove with a pack of 6 from Perth to The Kimberley’s, light and unbreakable for packing, chills really quickly, super easy to flatten and store in the return envelope when finished and did I say, a fabulous Margaret River SBS – not an SB or SSB; there is a difference 😊
