Crafted by winemaker Gavin Berry of West Cape Howe, a trailblazer in the Great Southern Region, this wine reflects their excellence in producing highly regarded Chardonnay, Riesling, Shiraz, and Cabernet-based wines.
Notably, they’ve recently unveiled an incredible Nebbiolo, which is a brilliant expression of the variety made famous by the regions of Barolo and Barbaresco in Italy.
Now, back to this cracking Chardonnay … We’re thrilled to have secured this small batch of wine that perfectly aligns with our Greenskin Wine criteria – exceptional quality, it is immediately approachable (no need to cellar for years), and its suitability for any occasion, from a campsite gathering to the best-laid tables.
- Colour: Pale straw with hints of green.
- Nose: Juicy fruit, melon, crushed grain, lemon zest and spiced oak.
- Palate: Full and rich palate loaded with peaches, pears and guava overlaid with a creamy mouthfeel and restrained oak handling followed by a tight citrus finish.
Whether you’re enjoying a glass with poultry, seafood, a crisp salad, or a creamy pasta, this Chardonnay’s versatility makes it an ideal companion for a wide range of cuisines.

Huon Hooke is a leading Australian wine writer, critic, educator and show judge, best known for his columns in Sydney Morning Herald Good Food and Good Weekend.
Light yellow hue and fresh, stone-fruit and waxy aromas, straightforward and clean, building lemon and grapefruit as it aired; the palate is light to medium weighted and finishes with a trace of grip from the tannins—which would vanish in the company of food.
Attractive and good value chardy in a convenient soft package.
