MIKE’S WINE NOTES:
Mike Davies – Founder Greenskin Wine | Winemaker | Wine Packaging Specialist
We’re now onto our third Pinot Grigio, and after the popularity of our last release, we couldn’t wait to get this one back in the pouch!
Once again, we’ve teamed up with the talented winemaker Gavin Berry at West Cape Howe in Western Australia’s Great Southern region, one of Australia’s finest cool-climate wine-growing areas.
The 2026 vintage enjoyed comparatively mild conditions and an extended, even ripening period, allowing the fruit to develop excellent flavour while retaining its lovely natural freshness.
Like its predecessor, this Pinot Grigio is made in the light, crisp Italian style rather than the richer French Pinot Gris style. It’s all about fresh fruit, lively acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
And Gavin has delivered another beauty!
There’s plenty of juicy fruit flavour here, but nothing heavy or overpowering. Just a beautifully balanced, vibrant white wine that’s a pleasure to enjoy.
It’s a cracking wine for our warm Australian summers, long lunches and alfresco adventures. And it looks pretty sharp in our new Greenskin pouch too!
- Colour: Pale straw with delicate white peach and pearly hues.
- Bouquet: Fresh strawberry, green apple and crunchy pear, with a subtle hint of musk.
- Palate: Crunchy apple, lively citrus zing and hints of guava. Refreshing citrus and chalky notes lead to a beautifully crisp, tight finish.

Ideal Food Pairings – With its fresh fruit flavours and crisp acidity, our 2026 Pinot Grigio is made for seafood, sunshine and long lunches.
Freshly grilled prawns, salt and pepper squid, fish tacos with a squeeze of lime, or a big bowl of chilli and garlic seafood pasta would all be delicious. It’s equally at home with fresh summer salads, antipasto, soft cheeses or a simple plate of fish and chips by the beach. And for those warm afternoons when you’re not quite ready for dinner?
Just chill, pour and enjoy. Preferably somewhere in the sun!
Limited Release – Don’t Miss Out! Our first two Pinot Grigio’s flew off the shelves, and we know this one will too. Be among the first to savour this vibrant, sprightly 2026 vintage and make it part of your next wine adventure.
