While the wine bears the signature of Michael Webster from Hay Shed Hill Winery in Margaret River, their close connection with West Cape Howe Wines (Great Southern, WA) allowed us to secure a unique small parcel of fruit from the Lansdale Vineyard.

Ideal Conditions:
The 2023 vintage in the Great Southern region benefited from optimal conditions, including good rainfall and a cool climate with minimal rain as harvest approached—ideal for early-picked varieties like Pinot Noir.

Stellar Expression:
This Pinot Noir is a stellar example of why this grape thrives in the Great Southern region, showcasing its unique characteristics derived from greater distance from the ocean, suitable soils, and cooler nights.

Enchanting Characteristics:
With its crimson hue and light pink edges, the wine enchants with a bouquet of cherries, sherbet, charcuterie, and forest berries, complemented by a lifted fragrance of rose petals.

The palate offers a smooth fusion of strawberries & cream, light mushroom, and hints of truffle, supported by subtle oak tannins that dry and linger.
