MIKE’S WINE NOTES:
Mike Davies – Co-founder Greenskin Wine, winemaker and wine packaging specialist.
For this 2022 vintage, we were very lucky to secure a small parcel of Rosé from Margaret River local legend wine producer Bruce Dukes from Domaine Naturaliste. With the classic Rosé wines from Provence in mind, Bruce selected a very special plot of Margaret River Grenache grapes and with his Winemaker Remy Guise, put this very tidy wine together for us.
The growing season was ideal, with generally warm and dry conditions with some very light rain in January, keeping the vines happy and healthy.
- Colour – Pale Salmon with lovely onion skin hues.
- Bouquet – Floral, rose petals, guava & paw paw, augmented by a soft chalky edge and a hint of musk.
- Palate – Slightly chalky texture, fresh cherries, guava and paw paw. Bone dry zingy fruit with succulent natural acidity finishing with the lightest, finest tannin edge.
This Rosé is the perfect complement to seafood dishes, Asian cuisine with a touch of spice, and fresh, crisp salads.

Pale coral pink colour; bright fresh fruit aromas remind of dried flowers, dried strawberry and quince paste, the palate dry and crisply appetising at the finish, refreshing and more-ish.
90/100 points – Silver Medal Winner.
