Introducing our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River, crafted by the talented winemaker Japo Dalli Cani of McHenry Hohnen Vineyards. Using the same method as our previous Sauvignon Blancs, Japo has allowed this 100% Sauvignon Blanc to spend a brief period in a large oak barrels, making the wine more interesting, complex and mouth-filling without being woody or oaky.
This wine was also made without fining agents, so it is Vegan-friendly, zesty, and bursting with flavour!
- Colour: Pale Straw
- Nose: Gooseberry, guava, paw paw and green apple with a hint of fresh toast.
- Palate: Lip-smacking and fresh, with clean passionfruit and crunchy apple leading the way. The careful oak handling is in the shadows, providing complexity and depth.

Food Pairings – I always think of Sauvignon Bland as a seafood wine. The best kinds of seafood to have with Sauvignon Blanc are raw or close to it; Oysters, Sashimi and ceviche white fish. This Sauvignon Blanc also pairs beautifully with Eastern European & Middle Eastern foods like Tzaziki, humous and grilled vegetables.
The mere thought of pairing half a dozen chilled, freshly shucked oysters with this exquisite wine fills me with lip-smacking excitement!
